Marius Hügli, known by his stage name Marius Bear is a Swiss singer and songwriter. He once had plans of becoming a mechanic but abandoned that path to tour Germany and Switzerland as a street musician. In 2017, he moved to London to study music production at the BIMM Institute, and a year later released his debut album "Sanity" which rose to the top of the Swiss charts.
He won the Swiss Music Award for "Best Talent" in 2020 and also participated in the show I Can See Your Voice, where his cover of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" went viral.
On 8 March 2022, SRG SSR announced that he would represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin with the song Boys Do Cry. He finished in 17th place in the grand final.
In 2024, he participated in the 5th season of Sing My Song: The Swiss Exchange Concert. Also participating in that series was 2024 Swiss representative and winner Nemo.
