Maraaya is a Slovenian neo-soul duo made up of singer Marjetka Vovk and her husband, producer Aleš "Raay" Vovk. The duo's name is a mash-up of their own names, but also means "She has Raay" in the Slovene language. They represrented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song Here For You, finishing in 14th place.
They both came to Vienna with a little bit of Eurovision experience: Raay composed Round and Round for Tinkara Kovač in 2014 and the two of them contributed to Slovenia's 2014 Junior Eurovision entry.
Marjetka and Raay have been known for wearing headphones as their trademark, Marjetka says it helps her feel more comfortable on stage by imagining she is in the recording studio.
Marjetka was one of the five jurors for Slovenia in the 2016 contest in Stockholm, while Raay did the same for the 2021 contest in Rotterdam.
