Mălina Olinescu was a Romanian singer.

Born to a family of artists--her father Boris Olinescu was an actor and her mother was the singer Doina Spataru--Mălina started singing at the age of five. After graduating high school in 1993, she started singing in Bucharest's night clubs.

Throughout the next four years, Malina participated in a number of music competitions, winning the Aurelian Andreescu festival in 1995 and placing third in Mamaia. She also participated in Cerbul de Aur (Golden Stag).

In 1997, Malina had her first major hit, Mi-e Dor De Tine; the following year, she represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the ballad named Eu cred. She finished in 22nd place with only 6 points, all of them from Israel. This result would be the worst in the grand final for Romania; nevertheless, she released Pot Să Zbor shortly afterwards. The album would become a minor hit.

Malina tried to represent Romania again at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with Tacerea Doare, but didn't make it through.

She died of suicide in 2011, when she fell off her residence building after a dispute with her partner of the time
