Luv Bug are an Irish pop band originating from Newry, Northern Ireland who achieved some success in their homeland during the 1980s. Among their best known singles are their cover of the Billy Ocean track "Red Light Spells Danger", "Living In Stereo", "Look at Me I'm Dancing" and "On My Own".

They were chosen as the Irish representative at the 1986 Contest in Norway where they finished in 4th place. The song peaked in the Top 5 on the Irish charts.

In 1992 they made a second attempt at Eurovision, but lost out to Linda Martin who would go on to win in Malmö.

The band still continues today as a four piece, performing live mainly at private functions in Ireland.
