About[]
Luna was born on 28 August 1999 in Warsaw. She has three brothers. Her family manages Polish food processing company Dawtona.
She plans to change her real name Aleksandra to her stage name.
In 2018, Luna established cooperation with the Kayax label as part of the "My Name Is New" project. It was then that she recorded her debut song titled "Na wzgórzach niepokoju".
In 2020, she recorded her single "Luna", which announced the singer's new artistic path. The title, meaning "Moon" in Latin and several Romance languages, would become her stage name; the singer attributed this choice to a connection that she feels with the satellite and with nighttime in general. She cites Nick Cave and Björk as her biggest inspirations.
She submitted the song The Tower to Poland's internal preselections in 2024, winning by only one point ahead of 1995 entrant Justyna Steczkowska and the third placer, the creator of the record label she is signed to, Kayah.
She performed the song in 6th position in the first semi final. Unfortunately, she did not qualify, placing 12th with 35 points, ending Poland's qualifying streak.
