Lopšinė mylimai was the debut entry for Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 in Dublin performed by Ovidijus Vyšniauskas. This was the first time that the language had been heard at the contest. The song itself is a simple ballad, in which Vyšniauskas describes the qualities of his lover in poetic language.
The song was performed sixteenth on the night, following Slovakia and preceding Norway. At the close of voting, it finished in last place with the ever-dreaded Nul Points.
This is the single least auspicious debut in Contest history. Portugal ended the 1964 Contest without a point, but tied for last place with three other entries. Malta, Austria, Monaco and Turkey all came last in their first appearances, but each received at least one point.
Due to the rapidly expanding Contest, entry to the following year's contest was restricted to the 18 best participants from the 1994 edition as well as those countries broadcasting but not participating in the Contest. Thus, Lithuania was not invited to participate and would next appear at the 1999 contest.
