Ljiljana Petrović was a Bosnian-born Serbian singer who got her start singing at local clubs and restaurants before being discovered at a festival in Mali Lošinj in 1960.
She was Yugoslavia's first representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 1961 in Cannes with the song Neke davne zvezde, finishing in 8th place. In the late 1980s, she retired from public life and became an author.
She passed away on 4 February 2020 at the age of 81.
