Liora Fadlon, better known as Liora, is an Israeli singer who represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1995.
Born in Ashkelon, Liora moved with her family to Ashdod when she was five years old. At 19 years old, she moved to Givatayim to pursue a musical career, alongside with participating in the Israeli Navy Company. After three years of preparation, she released her self-titled debut album, which featured collaborations with a wide variety of different artists.
In 1995, she represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, with the song Amen. While it was performed with candles at the Israeli pre-selection show, the Irish organizers declined their usage due to safety concerns. Nevertheless, it placed 8th overall with 81 points. A year later, she released her second album, which received significant airplay-time.
In her 1999 album, Liora experimented with ethnic sounds with spiritual themes, whereas her fourth album covers Israeli songs she loved during her childhood. Since then, she moved to Argentina, where she gained a fanbase there. In addition, Liora works as a yoga teacher.
She was the chairperson of the Israeli jury in the 2015 contest in Vienna.
