Lindita Halimi is an Albanian-Kosovar singer. She participated in the third series of Ethet (the Albanian version of the Idol franchise) and finished in the top 10. She also took part in Top Fest twice, winning the competition in 2009.
In 2014, she took part in the 53rd Festivali i Këngës with the song "S'të fal", finishing in third place behind eventual winner Elhaida Dani. She co-wrote the English version of Dani's new Eurovision song I'm Alive after the composer of her original song "Diell" pulled out.
Lindita then participated in the final season of American Idol in 2016, making it to the top 51. She was beaten out of a place in the top 24 by the season's eventual runner-up, La'Porsha Renae.
She represented Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev after winning the 55th Festivali i Këngës with the song World (originally titled Botë). She failed to qualify for the final, finishing 14th in the first semifinal.
