Lesley Roy is an Irish singer and songwriter. She released her debut album "Unbeautiful" in 2008 before switching her focus to songwriting.
She has written for many international artists including Miss Montreal, Marlee Scott and Adam Lambert.
On 5 March 2020, RTE announced that Lesley would represent Ireland at the 2020 contest with the song Story of My Life prior to its cancellation. On 17 December 2020, RTE announced that Lesley would represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song Maps. It failed to qualify from the first semifinal, finishing in last place.
