Laurent Vaguener is the pseudonym of French music composer Jean Baudlot. In his early years he composed for many different labels and worked with the likes of Michèle Torr and Joe Dassin.
He represented Monaco in the 1979 Contest in Jerusalem, finishing in 16th place.
Throughout the 1980s he worked with well-known artists Richard Clayderman and Nicolas de Angelis and for the final time released a single under his pseudonym in 1984. In 1988, he composed several songs for the Amiga and Atari ST game consoles. He continued to focus on gaming music during the early 1990s and throughout the 2000s he mainly produced music for TV documentaries. In 1995 he formed his own production company.
