Ladaniva is an Armenian band created in 2019, making music with a vibrant blend of Armenian folk with global musical influences. The name of their band comes from an off-road car from Russia, Lada Niva.

Baghdasaryan and Thomas met in a local bar during a jam session in 2018, in their home-town of Lille, where Jaklin emigrated to from Minsk, Belarus.
Ladaniva initially gained viral acclaim with their hit song "Vay Aman", showcasing their fresh style and innovative approach to world music, releasing their debut album "Ladaniva" a year before their participation.
They were rumored to hold talks in 2021 with AMPTV to represent their home country before the broadcaster decided to withdraw from the contest.
On 9 March 2024, AMPTV announced that the duo would represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmo with the song Jako. They finished in 8th place in the final.
