Kjetil Mørland, otherwise known by just his last name, Mørland is a Norwegian singer. Since 2008, he has been the lead singer of the British band Absent Elk, who have supported the groups The Script, The Hoosiers and Girls Aloud on tour.
He represented his home country at the 2015 Contest in Vienna with Debrah Scarlett, performing the song A Monster Like Me, which finished in 8th place.
The following year, he released his first solo album, Make a Sail. Two years later, he was credited a songwriter for Rebecca's "Who We Are" at Norway's Melodi Grand Prix, which lost to Alexander Rybak. In 2019, he returned to the national final with the song "En livredd mann", his first song in Norwegian. It ultimately lost to KEiiNO's Spirit in the Sky.
A year later, he co-wrote the song Attention with Ulrikke Brandstorp, which would've represented Norway at the 2020 contest in Rotterdam.
