Joan Franka is a Turkish-Dutch singer who first came to attention in the Netherlands through her participation in the 2010 season of The Voice of Holland, where she reached the live shows before being eliminated in the fifth week.
She represented her home country in the 2012 Contest in Baku with the song You and Me, which finished in 15th place in the second semi final, marking the eighth consecutive year that the country had failed to reach the final.
