Jean-Claude Pascal was a French singer, actor and comedian. After surviving World War II, he studied at the Sorbonne before becoming a costume designer.
He participated at Eurovision twice within 20 years, both times representing Luxembourg. He first appeared at the Eurovision Song Contest 1961 in Cannes with the song Nous les amoureux, winning the contest and giving Luxembourg its first victory.
20 years later, he made his second attempt at the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 in Dublin performing C'est peut-être pas l'Amérique and finished in 11th place with 41 points.
He passed away on 5 May 1992 at the age of 64.
