Javine Hylton is a British singer who came to fame in 2002 when she auditioned for reality TV singing competition Popstars: The Rivals. She reached the live shows but missed out on the final place in the resulting girl band Girls Aloud, who would go on to become the most successful reality TV group of all-time.
However, she embarked on a solo career and achieved five UK Top 20 singles including her 2005 Contest entry Touch My Fire, which finished in 22nd place. Her debut solo album barely scraped into the charts, peaking at #73.
