Jana Burčeska is a Macedonian singer. She came to prominence in Macedonia during the only-known series of Macedonian Idol in 2011 where she placed fifth overall.
She represented FYR Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev after being internally selected by broadcaster MRT. She performed the song Dance Alone, finishing in 15th place in the second semifinal.
Despite not qualifying, Jana got engaged to her boyfriend right before the second semifinal results were revealed. According to co-presenter Timur Miroshnychenko, this was the first time in contest history that a marriage proposal was carried out during the live shows.
Jana was chosen to present the North Macedonian results at the 2022 contest in Turin.
