James Fox is a Welsh singer. He began his singing career at the age of 15 and in 2000 formed a boy band. He eventually left to pursue a solo career and in 2003, he came to the UK public's attention when he took part in the BBC's Fame Academy, finishing in fifth place overall. Following this, he was chosen to represent the United Kingdom at the 2004 Contest in Istanbul but finished in 16th place overall.
Post-Contest, he wrote "Bluebirds Flying High" which was the official Cardiff City FC single for the 2008 World Cup and has moved into the world of musical theater. To date he has released three studio albums and an EP.
