Jürgen Beumer, professionaly known as Jürgen Marcus, was a German singer.

He participated in the 1975 German selection, but he lost to Joy Fleming, since his song came 9th.

He participated in Luxembourg's first national final in 1976, and he was chosen to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 in The Hauge with the song Chansons pour ceux qui s'aiment. At the close of voting, he came 14th place with 17 points.

He later participated in the 1982 German selection, losing again to the eventual winner, Nicole.

In 1991, he came out as gay and was also in a relationship with his manager.

He passed away on the 17th of May, 2018 at the age of 69.
