Iemand als jij (translation: Someone like you) was the Belgian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 in Millstreet performed by Barbara Dex.
The song is a straightforward love ballad, with Barbara singing that she has never loved anyone like this before. Her performance featured a beige dress which she made herself, which was the inspiration for the Barbara Dex Award in future years.
It was performed 7th on the night following Greece and preceding Malta. At the close of voting, it finished in last place with 3 points. This resulted in them getting relegated for the 1994 contest, the first time the country has missed the competition in its history.
