Hovi Star

Hovi Sekulets, better known by his stage name Hovi Star, is an Israeli singer who started his career at the age of 14. He took part in the 7th season of Kokhav Nolad (the Israeli version of the Idol franchise) in 2009 where he finished 7th overall. After the series, he did work as a voice actor in several films dubbed in Hebrew.

In 2016, he won the third series of HaKokhav HaBa (The Next Star). As part of his win, he represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song Made of Stars, finishing in 14th place overall in the final.

One of Hovi's fellow contestants in his season of Kokhav Nolad was Mei Finegold, who represented Israel at Eurovision in 2014.
