Heroes was the Swedish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna by Måns Zelmerlöw. An up-tempo anthem featuring front-projected visual effects, it was the hot favorite going into the contest after breaking several records at the 2015 edition of Melodifestivalen.
The song easily qualified from the second semifinal. In the grand final, it was performed 10th following Norway and preceding Cyprus. At the close of voting, it was declared the winner with 365 points, giving Sweden its sixth victory overall.
It was subsequently covered by Conchita Wurst in the 'Switch Song' interval act in the grand final of the 2019 contest. A year later, Måns performed an acoustic version during the Europe Shine a Light special as a tribute to frontline workers battling the coronavirus pandemic.

- Both Ann Sophie and The Makemakes did their own parodies of the song after the contest on social media, replacing the word "heroes" with "zeroes" as they both scored nul points in the final.
