Heaven was the Icelandic song at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, Turkey. This is Jónsi's first performance out of two so far for his country.
As Brigitta Haukdal placed inside the top 11 of 2003, Iceland automatically qualified to the final of 2004, where they placed 17th in the running order, following Sakis Rouvas of Greece, and preceding Chris Doran of Ireland.
The song is a ballad, and is about the singer missing a loved one, and wants them to "blend their colours with his blue", meaning that he wants his loved one's happiness blended with his sadness, his blue.
