Gunvor Guggisberg, known professionally as Gunvor, is a Swiss singer. She began her singing career in her twenties by winning two of her country's biggest talent shows.
However, she is best known for representing her home country at the 1998 Contest in Birmingham, finishing in last place with Nul Points.
Post-Contest, she released a follow-up single but it failed to reach the Swiss charts. By the end of the year she became the subject of a documentary, which included footage of her weeping on the Eurovision stage. By Christmas she was performing in Zurich's Conelli Circus and had released a third single. The following year, she released her debut album but it failed to find success.
She returned to day work while occasionally singing in hotels and in 2004 she filed for bankruptcy. In 2014 she was arrested for theft and insurance fraud.
