Geta Burlacu

Geta Burlacu is a Moldovan singer. She started singing at age 7 and studied violin in music school. Over the course of her career, she performed with various jazz bands and participated in music festivals and competitions across Europe, which included reaching the finals of the 2009 Golden Stag Festival in Romania.

She has released 5 studio albums.

She was chosen to represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade with the song A Century of Love. She finished in 12th place in the first semifinal, failing to qualify for the final.
