Gabriela Gunčíková

Gabriela Gunčíková is a Czech singer best known for being the runner-up in the second series of SuperStar, the Czech and Slovak version of the Idol franchise, in 2011. In 2014, she joined the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as a vocalist after finishing vocal courses.

After much speculation, it was announced that she has been selected internally to represent the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song I Stand. She qualified from the first semifinal, the first time her country has made it past the semi round since its debut, and finished 25th in the grand final.
