Finn Bjørn Kalvik is a Norwegian singer. His breakthrough on the music scene came in 1969 and he scored further chart successes in 1971 and 1975. His first four albums all reached the Top 15 on the Norwegian charts and his 1979 and 1981 albums were produced by ABBA's Benny Andersson.
In spite of walking away with Nul Points at the 1981 Contest in Dublin the song went on to be a big hit in his homeland.
He returned to Melodi Grand Prix once more in 1987 where he finished in fourth place overall with a song dedicated to his daughter. Since then he has continued to have a successful career in his homeland.
