Prior to the Contest's shows, a Family Show is held just before the live broadcast.

The Family Show is open to families who intend to watch the show with younger audiences. It also serves as the last of three dress rehearsals, in which all performances including Interval acts and voting segments are conducted.[1] It is typically held on the day of the live broadcast at 15:00 CEST for the semi-finals, and 13:30 CEST for the final.[2][3]

Voting segment[]

Like all other dress rehearsals such as the Jury Final, voting segments display made-up results that are not influenced by national juries nor televoting. This disclaimer is often announced by the presenters prior. This is to help ensure that the results procedure runs smoothly, and in the case of the Grand Final, to make sure visual connections to the spokespersons in the various countries are working properly.
