Fabrizio Faniello is a singer and an ex-footballer from Malta. He participated in the 2001 and 2006 contests, and as Chiara was 2nd in 2005, this qualified Fabrizio to the Grand Final automatically.
Fabrizio discovered his love for music at a very early age and his teacher advised he go on to do singing. However, he was more interested in football, which he did for a year in Turin, in 1997.
In 1998, he finally chose to make singing his profession and went back to Malta. As of 2013, he has released three successful albums and numerous singles in many countries, mainly European countries, being the most successful in Malta.
His sister, Claudia, represented Malta at the 2017 contest in Kyiv. His mother, Anna, auditioned for the first season of The X Factor Malta in 2018 and was eliminated at judges' houses.
He made another attempt to represent Malta in 2025 as part of the trio JVF (alongside 2018 Sammarinese representative Jessika Muscat) with the song "Festa (No Time for Siesta)"
