Ester Alexandra Crețu, known professionally as Ester Peony, is a Romanian-Canadian singer and songwriter. She spent much of her childhood in Montreal, Canada where she discovered her passion for music.
She gained fame in 2014 for singing various cover songs on YouTube and was subsequently signed to a Romanian record label, debuting on radio and TV with the song "Sub aripa ta". She released her first EP, "Dig It", in 2019.
She represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv with the song On a Sunday, finishing in 13th place in the second semifinal.

- Much like Greek representative Katerine Duska, Ester spent part of her life in Montreal.
- She beat Romania's Got Talent winner and America's Got Talent finalist Laura Bretan in Selectia Nationala 2019, who was seen as the heavy favorite to win the selection.
