Engelbert Humperdinck (born Arnold George Dorsey) is a British singer, and is currently the second oldest competitor to have competed in the Eurovision Song Contest, representing the United Kingdom at 76, but this was beaten at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by 94 year old Takasa member Emil Ramsauer, representing Switzerland.
He had success in the 1960's with ballads like "Release Me" and "The Last Waltz".
His daughter, Louise Dorsey, is an actress best known for being the voice of Jetta in the 1980s cartoon series Jem.
On 1 March 2012, the UK's broadcaster, the BBC announced that Humperdinck would represent the UK in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, held in Baku, in Azerbaijan, on 26 May, finishing in 25th place above Tooji, from Norway.
