Empires was supposed to be the Polish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, performed by Alicja. Unfortunately, the contest was cancelled because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, ongoing around the world that time.
The song was supposed to be performed 8th in the second semi final, between Serbia and Iceland.
