Elisa Silva, known mononymously as Elisa is a Portuguese singer. She started entering music competitions at a young age and at 17 took a course in jazz music at the Conservatório da Madeira. She now studies in Lisbon.
Elisa credits the music of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s in fostering her love for music.
She was to have represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song Medo de sentir. A year later, she was chosen to announce the Portuguese jury result during the 2021 contest.
