Artūrs Šingirejs, known professionally as Dons is a Latvian singer and songwriter who is one the most popular artists in his country. He started his career in 2003 as a participant in the Latvian talent series Talantu Fabrika, releasing his first album in 2004 alongside Linda "Lily" Kalniņa. Four years later, he finished in 4th place at the New Wave Festival. He has released 9 studio albums to this date.
Outside of music, he was the voice of Olaf and SpongeBob in the Latvian dubs of Frozen, Frozen II and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. He was also a judge for the 2015 and 2017 editions of Supernova.
He has attempted to represent Latvia at Eurovision on 2 prior occasions in 2010 and 2014, finishing runner-up both times. He won Supernova on his third attempt and represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmo with the song Hollow, finishing in 16th place in the final.
