Didrik Solli-Tangen is a Norwegian singer. He began his career at the age of 15 when he formed a band in school. His father later encouraged him to seek vocal training as an opera singer and because of this he has earned the nickname "The Opera Singer" in the Norwegian media.
He won the right to represent his country on home soil at the 2010 contest in Oslo performing the song My Heart Is Yours, finishing in 20th place.
He attempted to return to the contest as a direct finalist at Melodi Grand Prix 2020 with his brother Emil.
In 2021, Didrik won the second series of the Norwegian version of The Masked Singer as "Snømonsteret" (Snow Monster).
