Day After Day was the debut entry for Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade performed by Elnur & Samir.
"Day After Day" incorporates elements of opera singing combined with Azeri folk genre of mugham. It symbolizes the eternal dialogue between Good and Evil. Elnur and Samir perform the song dressed as devil and angel.
It qualified from the first semifinal in 6th place. In the final, it was performed 20th following France and preceding Greece. At the close of voting, it finished in 8th place with 132 points, the first of a consecutive string of top-10 finishes which lasted until 2013.
