Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen, known professionally as Darude, is a Finnish DJ and record producer. He first started making music in 1995 and in late 1999 released the single "Sandstorm", which went multi-platinum. He has released 4 studio albums and received multiple awards for his work.
He co-founded EnMass Music in 2011.
On 29 January 2019, YLE announced that he would be representing Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv with singer Sebastian Rejman performing the song Look Away. The song finished in last place in the first semfinal.
