Dan Bittman is a Romanian singer-songwriter, actor, and television presenter. He is most notable for being the lead singer of the pop-rock band Holograf since 1985.

He started as a member of the group Blitz, then joined the group Domino, where they only performed covers of songs at restaurants. When the group split up after a year later, he joined the group Incognito, where they recorded a number of songs and participated in a number of shows before dissolving in 1984. Afterwards, he was the lead singer of the hard rock band IRIS.

In 1985, Dan became the lead singer of the band Holograf, which he continues to work with to this day. Their third album, Holograf III, sold 200,000 copies, and their heyday occured between the 1980s and 1990s, as they created music and toured across Eastern Europe.

He participated, and won, the first Selecția Națională with Dincolo de nori, making him the first representative for Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 in Dublin. He came in 21st in the competition, relegating the country for the Eurovision Song Contest 1995. Nevertheless, the song was awarded Song of the Year by Romanian magazine Actualitatea muzicală, and was re-recorded in 1998 by Bittman and his group Holograf for their 12th studio album Supersonic.
