Czechia (formerly known as the Czech Republic) has competed at the Eurovision Song Contest 10 times, debuting in 2007, being last in the semi-final with their rock song Malá dáma.

On their first three attempts, the country failed to qualify for the final. The country withdrew after the 2009 contest after Gipsy.cz scored 0 points in the semi-final, being the second entry to do so after Switzerland's 2004 entry. In addition, the country's 2009 entry featured lyrics in Romani, which would be later heard in North Macedonia's 2013 entry.

After a five-year-long absence, it was announced by Eurovision.tv that the country would return for the 2015 contest in Vienna.[1] However, once again it failed to qualify for the final, achieving 13th place with Marta Jandová & Václav Noid Bárta and their song Hope Never Dies.

In 2016, Gabriela Gunčíková helped the country qualify for the final for the first time with her entry I Stand, which placed second last (25th). Two years later, Mikolas Josef gave the country its best result with his entry Lie to Me, finishing 6th in the final.

The best result in the semi-finals was achieved in 2019 by Lake Malawi with their song Friend of a Friend, finishing in second place in the first semi-final, 19 points behind Australia.

The country qualified for the final only five times.

As of 2023, the country now competes as Czechia.
