Como tudo começou was the Portuguese entry at the 1999 Contest. It was performed by Rui Bandeira.
On the night, it was performed 16th following the winning country Sweden and preceding Ireland. At the close of voting, it finished in 21st place with 12 points, which was not enough to guarantee a place at the 2000 Contest in Stockholm.
