Cleopatra Pantazi, better known by her first name only, is a Greek singer.
Starting her music career in 1983, Cleopatra garnered a lot of international singing experience and her voice has moved several composers who worked with her. Not only has she participated in multiple television programs, but she also performed in such venues like Royal Albert Hall in London and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Under the name Irini, Cleopatra attempted to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 1983. Almost a decade later, the ERT reverted from a national selection to an internal one for 1992, in which she was selected. Performing the song Olou Tou Kosmou I Elpida, it placed 5th with 94 points, tying it with Greece's best performance with its 1977 entry until Die for You placed 3rd in 2001.
She has released two albums, Cleopatra in 1992 and Ola Ta S'Agapo two years later. While planning for a third album, her husband Christos Lagos died in a car accident in 2003, leading her to quit music forever and become a nun.
