Cleopatra was to have been the Azerbaijani entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam performed by Samira Efendi.
Though mostly sung in English, it contains the Japanese mantra "Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō."
The song was also complimented by some fans for the lyrics "Straight or gay or in between", despite homosexuality being widely seen as taboo in Azerbaijan, where LGBT people have faced violence and harrasment by the authorities.
