Anna Jenny Charlotte Perrelli (née Nilsson) is a Swedish singer and television host, perhaps most famous for winning the Eurovision Song Contest 1999, in Jerusalem, with the song Take Me To Your Heaven.
Since then she has released seven albums and multiple singles. Nilsson, then married as Perelli, once again won Melodifestivalen 2008 and represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with her song Hero, qualifying for the final via the backup jury despite only finishing 12th in her semi.
She is one of Sweden's most popular female singers, often performing at Sweden's top shows. Throughout her career, she has worked with different types of music, ranging from schlager to jazz melodies.
She made several more appearances at Melodifestivalen, including 2021 where she finished in 8th place with the song "Still Young".
Perelli remarried in 2015 to her new husband, Anders Jensen.[1]
