Gaynor Hopkins (born 8 June 1951), better known by her stage name Bonnie Tyler is a Welsh singer. She represented the United Kingdom in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Believe in Me".
Before Eurovision[]
Before her appearance in the Eurovision, Bonnie had many hits in the 1980s, which were mainly power ballads, such as Holding Out for a Hero and Total Eclipse of the Heart. 2000 UK representative Nicki French recorded a dance cover version of the latter.
