Ben da Silva Cristovao, known professionally as Benny Cristo, is a Czech singer, songwriter, actor and athlete born to a Czech father and an Angolan mother.
He appeared in the TV talent series Czech Slovak Superstar in 2009, finishing in 7th place. A year later, he released his debut album "Definitely Different".
He is also highly ranked in Brazilian jiu jitsu and is a professional snowboarder.
He was to have represented the Czech Republic at the 2020 contest. With the cancellation of the event, ČT announced that he would represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song Omaga. He failed to qualify from the second semifinal, finishing in 15th place.
