Barbara Pravi is a French singer, songwriter and actress of Iranian and Serbian descent. She started her career in 2014 after meeting French musician Jules Jaconelli and signed her first record deal with Capitol Records France a year later. She released her debut single "Pas grandir" in 2017.
She has written songs for many French and international artists, but she has also written several Junior Eurovision entries. She co-wrote 2 winning entries: Valentina's "J'imagine" in 2020 and Lissandro's "Oh maman!" in 2022, as well as Carla's 5th-place entry "Bim bam toi" in 2019.
She represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam with the song Voilà after winning the first edition of Eurovision France - C'est vous qui décidez. She finished in 2nd place, giving her country its best placing since 1991.
Barbara released her debut album On n'enferme pas les oiseaux on 27 August 2021.
