Barbara Deckx, known professionally as Barbara Dex, is a Belgian singer who has released songs and albums in both English and Dutch. She was chosen to represented her home-country, Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 in Millstreet with the song Iemand als jij, which finished last place out of 25 entries with only 3 points.
She is best remembered in that contest for the outfit she wore on stage: an unflattering, handmade dress. That outfit is so remembered that the fan site House of Eurovision named an award after her which was been given annually to the worst-dressed artist of each contest from 1997 to 2021.
