Avanti la vie (translation: Go forward in life) was the Belgian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 in Luxembourg performed by Jacques Zegers.
The song is a motivational one, urging Zegers' listeners to "go forward in life" and maybe even "revive Rome".
It was performed 8th on the night following Cyprus and preceding Ireland. At the close of voting, it finished in 5th place with 70 points.
