Anna Maria Jopek is a Polish singer, songwriter, and actress. Since the release of her first album, the singer has been recording and giving concerts both in Poland and abroad.

One of the children of of Mazowsze singer Stanisław Jopek (1935–2006), known as the "First Coachman of Poland" for his signature song "Furman" (The Coachman), and former Mazowsze dancer Maria Stankiewicz, she graduated from the Music Academy of Warsaw in the piano class, and attended several other schools, including Manhattan School of Music in New York.
Career[]
While she recorded a song for Polish radio at three years old, Anna made her performance debut during the Slavic Bazaar in 1995, in which she received a personal award from Michel Langard. Two years later, she was internally selected to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin with the song Ale jestem. It came in 11th place in the final and is one of Poland's best places at Eurovision.
Anna then released her debut album of the same title the same year, which went gold. A year later, she released her second album, Szeptem, which went double platinum in Poland.
She experiments with different kinds of stage forms. She performed at the Old Theatre in Lublin in the play "Women's Time".
In 2015 she received the Knight's Cross Order of Polonia Restituta conferred by Polish President Bronisław Komorowski for promoting Polish art worldwide.
