Anna Henrietta Bergendahl is a Swedish folk singer who came to fame as a participant in the 2008 season of Idol, finishing in fifth place.
She represented her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo with the song This Is My Life, which failed to qualify for the final, making her the first Swedish act to do so.
After Eurovision, Bergendahl participated in "Allsång på Skansen", "Sommarkrysset", and "Lotta på Liseberg". She also went on a tour and sang songs from her debut album. In 2012 Bergendahl released her new album "Something to Believe In" with the debut single from the new album being "Live and Let Go". To date, she has released two studio albums and her Eurovision entry remains her only chart hit.
Anna made an attempt to return to Eurovision in Melodifestivalen 2019 with the song "Ashes to Ashes". While she achieved enough points to advance to the Andra Chansen round and made it into the final, she lost to John Lundvik. The song placed third at the OGAE Second Chance contest behind France and Italy.
She participated in Melodifestivalen 2020 with the song "Kingdom Come", finishing in 3rd place in the final. It won the 2020 OGAE Second Chance contest in a runaway vote, giving Sweden its 17th victory in the event.
She participated in Melodifestivalen for the fourth time in 2022 with the song "Higher Power", finishing in last place in the final.
